TERRY SPEARS
Director / Producer
A professional musician and singer/songwriter since the age of 12, Terry Spears worked as both a touring and studio musician for decades before jumping into the film industry in 2013.
During a brief stint at film school, he became friends with his future mentor, Oscar winning producer Gray Frederickson. Since that time he has written, directed and produced 5 feature films, and has produced and directed 3 additional feature films, all receiving distribution in both the US and world wide.
Terry is based in Los Angeles with a great passion for producing and directing narrative films. With his company 19 Artists Development and producing partner Kris Young he has already started stockpiling IMDB credits with no plans of stopping soon. Terry is currently writing his 9th feature "Charlie The Cannibal Clown".
KRIS YOUNG
Producer / Art Director
Producer and Collaborative Designer Kris Young, after 20+ years experience as a business owner and entrepreneur, made the decision to sell her businesses and pursue her passion of working as an artist. After dabbling in various art forms she quickly fell in love with the art of filmmaking through her longtime friend, Director/Producer Terry Spears. Looking to broaden her horizons within filmmaking, Kris attended film school where she expanded her passion for “the look” of visual storytelling & met her future mentor, Oscar Award Winning Producer Gray Frederickson (known for Apocalypse Now, The Godfather I,II,III and The Outsiders).
Since that time Kris has gone on to produce 8 feature films with all receiving distribution in both the US and worldwide markets. Her first film “American Terror Story”, was followed up by “Hell’s Belle”; with both horror films receiving distribution through Monarch Films in 2018. For her 3rd feature Kris turned to the action genre with “Agent Jade Black”, a female driven action film distributed within the US and worldwide through High Octane Pictures January 2020. After relocating to Los Angles in 2019 Kris and Terry teamed up with Canadian Writer/Editor Chloe Bellande to produce the mystery thriller feature “As The Village Sleeps” with distribution through IndieRights 2021. During the pandemic Kris and Terry completed their 5th feature film "Jovi & Lou" which released in late April 2023. 2024 has been a prosperous year, with three feature additional films, "Broken City" and "A Dangerous Prey", and "Beauty Grace Malice" released within the same year.
A natural collaborator, Kris enjoys working with producers, cast, and crew members to execute a creative vision that celebrates the contributions of each person on set. Pairing her knowledge and expertise of the business world with her eye for the artistic detail needed within the visual medium of moviemaking, Kris is uniquely and well suited to create narrative films that are simultaneously entertaining, thought provoking, and profitable while always striving to put the best possible story on the screen, regardless of the films budget.
MARLON LADD

As a seasoned actor, content creator, and college professor at Langston University, an HBCU in Langston, Oklahoma, Marlon Ladd has a wealth of experience. Marlon has notably collaborated with director Terry Spears and producer Kris Young on six feature productions to date.
GILBERT LOPEZ

Gilbert Lopez is a California native who joined the 19 Artists Development team in early 2023. He has proven himself to be a dedicated team member while collaborating on the projects Broke City, A Dangerous Prey, Beauty Grace Malice and Charlie The Cannibal Clown.
JUSTIN RUSSELL

Film Collaborator Justin Russell is an Oklahoma native who fell in love with the craft of filmmaking as an actor in 2018 and hasn’t looked back. Since that time he has acted in 17 projects and gone on to produce 8 shorts, 6 of which he also wrote. After working with Terry Spears and Kris Young on feature films Agent Jade Black and A Dangerous Prey, Justin has joined the 19 Artists Development team to collaborator on film projects including Beauty Grace Malice and Left For Dead.
